Dr. Magaly Rojas is a Chiropractic Clinician for Performance Health Clinic in Shrewsbury, MA. She grew up in Plymouth county (MA) and win or lose, she is a proud Boston sports fan.
Dr. Magaly knew she wanted a career in healthcare due to her experience with spinal fusion surgery as an early teen. Even after surgery, she continued to participate in various sports that includes volleyball, swimming, distance running, brazilian jiu jitsu and more. She quickly learned the importance of recovery with sport performance.
She graduated from the University of Massachusetts (UMass) Amherst and received her BS in Kinesiology. Her undergraduate experience at UMass Amherst introduced how exercise and movement are key factors to overall health and wellness. Working as an aide for a chiropractic and physical therapy clinic, she learned how patients can utilize movement to heal from injuries. This experience reaffirmed her passion to help others to heal from injuries, and take measures to prevent injuries from happening again. She then continued her education at the University of Bridgeport School of Chiropractic, where she graduated Cum Laude in 2021. She was awarded the 2021 Director’s Award, Clinical Excellence and the Richard E VIncent Student Leadership award for providing exceptional patient care during her internships in Bridgeport, CT.
Her approach is goal oriented care while respecting the needs of individual patients. She takes the time to listen to her patients and addresses any concerns they may have. When not working, she continues to remain active by golfing, training in jiu jitsu or going on hikes.
